Patient support that moves the needle
Multivariate analysis showed the effectiveness of the Patient Support Center on patient access
Navigation, financial assistance, education, peer support, survivorship and clinical trial support
Grants distributed to reduce financial barriers to transplant
25% ethnically diverse; care plans scaled from a 6-center pilot to any transplant center
Equity by design: Utilized machine-learning to assess patient risk and focused outreach on patients least likely to access treatment
Reaching patients. Returning value.
Blue Jay Collaborative starts by understanding your business priorities and current patient support, then uses research on the patient experience to highlight gaps and opportunities.
When patients can access care, stay on treatment and thrive, healthcare organizations thrive too.
The patient support funnel
01 · Define
Find the patients. Market data and provider locations point to patients who could benefit from treatment, nationwide.
02 · Identify
Pinpoint need. Risk scoring (e.g., Social Vulnerability Index) shows areas of greatest need, so outreach can scale.
03 · Assess
Assess for specific needs. Find simple ways to conduct a quick needs screening and open the door to the right kind of help
04 · Intervene
Deliver what fits. Plain-language education, an insurance navigator, a peer who has been there.
05 · Measure
Built in from day one. The method is set before launch, so results show whether more patients get on therapy.

Questions we hear often
Don’t see your question here? We’re happy to talk it through.
Who does Blue Jay Collaborative work with?
Pharma and biotech companies — and other healthcare organizations — that want their patient support to reach more patients and drive business results, particularly in oncology and cell therapy.
What does a typical engagement look like?
We start by understanding your business priorities and current patient support, then use research on the patient experience to highlight gaps and opportunities. Most engagements end with a prioritized roadmap and a clear plan to measure results.
How do you measure whether patient support is working?
Measurement is built in from day one. We define the outcomes that matter and set the evaluation method before launch, so the results show whether interventions are putting more patients on therapy.
Can you lead our patient services team on an interim basis?
Yes. Fractional Leadership provides part-time or interim patient services leadership, or ongoing leadership support after an engagement.
Do you speak at conferences or facilitate leadership sessions?
Yes. Katie leads sessions, panels and talks that bring the patient perspective to leaders, boards and conferences.
How do we get started?
Book a consultation. We’ll talk through where your program stands today and which service fits best.
Is your patient support program reaching the patients who need it most?
And can you show what it returns to your business? Let’s find out together.
